The Reference 5040 remained in production from 1992 until 2007, and was one of the firm's most elegant timepieces, combining the highly desirable and complicated automatic perpetual calendar with an distinctive and elegant tonneau form case.
The 5040 is divided into 3 series and made in all four precious metal types. The current watch is a first series watch (made between 1992 and 1998) and is cased in white gold.
