Reference 25820 was introduced in 1998 with a leap year indication and was driven by the caliber 2120/2802. Pure to essence of the original Genta design and perfectly sized at 39mm, it was available in various metals including gold and platinum. The current example is cased in tantalum and pink gold. Tantalum is an expensive material ordinarily used in the aeronautical and medical industries characterized by its hardness, high resistance to corrosion and wear but also by its extreme difficulty to machine and tool. The majority of the watch - the mid-case and larger links - are made out of dark grey tantalum contrasting elegantly with its pink gold bezel, crown and center links. Unlike most other Reference 25820, this edition does not have a Grande Tapisserie dial, but instead has a flat salmon-colored variant with slightly recessed sub registers applied indexes.
