The Chronometre Bleu Byblos is a collection that was inspired by and named after the ancient and beautiful city of Byblos located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea of Lebanon. Produced in 2014 and in a limited series of 99 examples, the chronometer is an eccentric display of François-Paul’s aesthetic prowess in design and watchmaking. Mimicking the sun of a Mediterranean blue sky, the dial portrays a guilloche decorated pink gold movement underneath a blue cut-out chapter ring dial and subsidiary seconds ring.
Aesthetically brilliant and unique in every possible way, the Blue Byblos is a discrete and fascinating example of Journe’s creations since 1999.
