MVT: is running at the time of cataloging.

CASE: is in fair condition. The glass is badly damaged at 3 o'clock. There a visible scratches and dings on the bezel, the lugs and the bands.

DIAL: is in fair condition. It presents some blemishes and spots throughout.

First introduced in 1958, Ref. 2570/1 was one of the first amagnetic watches put into production by Patek Philippe.
The specific design of the movement and case make the model more resistant to high magnetic fields that one might encounter in engineering or scientific work.
Examples of this reference in gold are especially rare. 
Most examples were made in stainless steel.
