Francois-Paul Journe has always been captivated by conquering challenging conundrums within watchmaking, with one of his most famous being the harnessing of the resonance phenomena to aid accuracy. This watch, the Octa Réserve de Marche was Journe's first automatic wristwatch and, what is more, fitted with the calibre 1300, the world's first automatic movement with a 120-hour power reserve.
This particular watch is a part of his second series of Octa Réserve de Marche which has been fitted in a 40 mm case and is equipped with an 18k gold movement.
