The Reference 3947 Rattrapante is powered by a Lemania 2320 base movement, one of the most well known column-wheel chronograph movements produced at the time. Breguet modified the movement to create a split-seconds chronograph complication. Interestingly, Patek Philippe is the only other brand to modify the 2320 movement in this way for their Reference 5004. Dressed in a white gold case, this lot retains all of the visual DNA of the atelier such as a fine coin edged case band and classic proportions to the guilloché dial. A modern, sapphire display back celebrates this complicated movement and displays the watch's unique serial number.
