Overall in good condition. Enriched with exceptional provenance, the present pair of chairs retains its original piqué sellier leather in age-appropriate condition throughout. The leather surfaces present with scratches, abrasions and minor losses to the edges, as well as scattered and spotty darker stains throughout. The front edge of one seat with a loose leather strap which has been partially detached from the chair. The upholstered seats with some gentle crackling to the leather surfaces throughout consistent with gentle use and age. The rear area of the seat of one chair has recently been sensitively stabilized by a professional restorer to ensure functionality and stability of the piece.
