Overall in very good condition. The wooden surfaces are in age-appropriate condition overall and present with faint scratches, abrasions and minute indentations throughout. The right and left sides of the cabinet each present with hairline cracks to the wood running through the upper and lower panels, which are stable and present with evidence of later sensitive restoration. The front doors present with various hairline cracks to the wood, consistent with age. The vellum is in well-preserved, age-appropriate condition overall, and presents with faint scratches throughout as well as very minor discoloration, small abrasions and raised grain. The vellum is enhanced with painted decorations which are very well preserved overall and retain their vivid appearance, with some occasional faint discolorations. The vellum on the proper right door with a tear measuring approximately 8 in. long with evidence of later sensitive repair. The copper decorations are stable with a 1 in. area of delamination to the proper right front corner 2 in. from the top. The copper presents with light oxidation throughout, consistent with age. The inlaid pieces are overall stable with some slightly raised areas, not visually distracting. Offered together with a key.
