Related ding with this fish pattern are very rare. A comparable ding and cover, decorated with very similar fish motifs, is illustrated in Chen Mengjia, Haiwai zhongguo tongqi tulu [Chinese bronzes from overseas collections], vol. 1, Beijing, 2017, fig. 10; and another, formerly in the collection of Felix Guggenheim (1904-1976), was sold recently in these rooms, 29th September 2021, lot 1025.
