Exceptionally large golden sable fur coat with matching golden sable hat, designed by Biz Markie and created by Furs by PK in New York City, ca. 2002 the coat with Biz in cursive embroidered in gold thread at left on interior lining, the coat with six front buttons and one collar button closure, the length from shoulder to end approximately 63 in. (160 cm.), sleeve length from shoulder to wrist approximately 32 in. (81.3 cm.), some minor areas of wear.

A an innovative and much beloved rapper, producer, and beatboxer who was hailed the "Crown Prince of Hip Hop" by Rolling Stone, Biz Markie was a consummate showman with style and flair. Throughout his celebrated career, Biz had an extensive collection of custom coats, hats and other apparel made for him, worthy of his regal status in the realm of Hip Hop. The pair offered here is an exceptional and almost overwhelmingly luxurious floor length golden sable fur coat with matching hat made by Furs by PK in New York City.


Over the years Furs by PK's owner, Steven Pochtar, worked closely with Biz to help bring the artist's custom-made pieces to life, becoming the rapper's go-to shop for high-end items.
