The imagination of Gerald Genta knew no limit. One of his favorite exercises was to immerse himself in a theme, identify elements of it and design a watch incorporating them. This design is a brilliant example of it. The shape of the case has been designed to resemble a snooker table. In typical Genta style, the bezel has four visible screws, representing the four corner pockets. To preserve the fine balance of the design, Gérald Genta chose to avoid the two side pockets. The hands are formed by the pool cue and the indexes by the snooker balls. In an effort to make his creation homogeneous, Genta designed the bracelet as a succession of balls and snooker queues, echoing the elements of the dial.
