Traditionally, Rolex has been known for their conservative take towards watch designs, however in the early 2000s, a series of bold and playful watches revolutionized their philosophy. Introducing the Cosmograph Daytona reference 116519 with their blue, green, yellow and pink dials, these four watches would be collectively nicknamed the "Beach" and are very difficult to find today. The present example features a vibrant yellow mother-of-pearl dial, encased in a hue of white gold and incorporated with the famous calibre 4130, Rolex's first in-house automatic chronograph movement. Highly sought-after in today's market, the present watch would make a fancy companion for leisure occasions.
