Movement: unsigned gilded, lever escapement, wolf's tooth winding, bi-metallic compensation balance

• Dial: white enamel, Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring, fancy-form pierced gold and blued hands, subsidiary seconds, signed Aleindor Jacot

• Case: 18ct gold, the back engraved with scene depicting a huntsman and his dog with further hunters in the background, the engraving filled with black enamel, milled bezels, pusher beside pendant for engaging hand-set, flat gold cuvette with chamfered edge, Jurgensen-type bow, case back with Neutchâtel control mark, numbered 23512, 1871 and stamped JAD cuvette numbered 1871
