• Dial: gold, satin finished chapter ring, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, decorative floral engraved centre, blued steel hands

• Case: 18ct gold, the back decoratively engraved scrollwork and centred with a vacant cartouche, hallmarked London 1840 and with case maker's mark S.C. possibly Samuel Cuendet, gold cuvette with apertures for winding/hand-setting and signed and numbered Barwise, London, No. 11/345
