A gold open-faced quarter repeating watch
Circa 1825
• Movement: unsigned gilded, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm balance, standing barrel, two polished steel hammers repeating on coiled gong
• Dial: silver engine turned, satin finished chapter ring with Roman numerals, blued steel moon hands
• Case: gold, polished (originally engine-turned), quarter turn piston pendant, numbered 6295, 3711 and stamped AP & F and with French Control mark for 1819-1838
