The 1970's are usually considered as the best period for Piaget. They produced sought-after pieces distinguished by three key elements: hard-stone dials, the manual winding calibre 9P and special gold bracelets.
This present lot has an attractive tiger eye dial, it is powered by the Cal. 9P and has a highly unusual bracelet alternating yellow and white gold bars. The octogonal shape of the case makes the watch looks bigger, while both the sapphire cabochon crown and smaller-than-usual diameter of the bracelet by the clasp increase the elegance of the piece.
