Panerai released the Pam0292 in 2008. It was one of the most anticipated and difficult to get watches of that period.

The overall design is in the pure tradition of the 1938 model.

The watch further has a bold diameter of 45mm with a black ceramic case. Some elements, such as the crown, case back and buckle are in black PVD stainless steel, creating an attractive contrast with the main case. Black case watches have been used for many years by military forces to remain stealthy. Indeed, stainless steel cases could reflect the light and thus indicate the position of a soldier.

The black matte dial is the sandwich type, one of the stylistic signatures of the brand. It features the subsidiary dial for seconds at 9 o'clock and is signed Radiomir Black seal. The cal. OP XI is a manual winding COSC certified movement.
