Chopard has been celebrating its relationship with legendary racing driver champion Jacky Ickx by releasing exclusive limited edition timepieces.
While Jacky Ickx's nickname is "Mister Le Mans", these watches are Mille Miglia models, from the celebrated open-road endurance race sponsored by Chopard.
This third edition Jacky Ickx 6/24 was released in 2002. It differs from the previous two models by the addition of the large date aperture at 12 o'clock. The calibre 2892 is chronometer certified.
Its stainless steel 40mm diameter case with robust lugs, silvered luminescent dial with large Arabic numerals and big eye subsidiary counters make the Jacky Ickx 3rd edition 6/24 an attractive and timeless sport chronograph wristwatch.
