The reference 1806, introduced in 1959, was officially associated with the so-called Florentine case finish, a hand-applied decorative motif of intersecting lines applied to the surface of the gold case.
The present early example displays a Swiss only stepped dial with pointed baton indexes with luminescent hands. The watch comes on its Florentine finish bracelet, with a big crown logo on the clasp, marked for the 4th quarter of 1960, matching the production period of the timepiece.
