Debuted in 2015, the Patek Philippe Reference 5370 is considered as one of the most important and attractive modern timepieces. Exclusively crafted in platinum, the reference was first adorned with a black dial and, since 2020, is now presented with a blue dial. Nonetheless, it is not any standard dial, it is a grand feu enamel on a gold plate dial, the noblest way a dial can possibly be made, combining elegance and traditional craftmanship. It further has applied gold Breguet numerals, beautifully complemented by the luminescent feuille hands. On the mechanical side, the reference 5370 features the mechanical wound movement CHR 29-535 PS composed of a breathtaking 312 components with advanced technical innovations.

While the 41mm diameter makes the 5370P a modern piece, the highest attention to each component and the classic aesthetic of the piece will also please vintage aficionados. Mastering the very best of both of these worlds, this timepiece is already considered as a timeless classic, a true icon by the watch community.

When the watch was released in 2015, this highly exclusive split-second chronograph was very quickly the hottest watch on the market and the world's leading collectors scramble to add it to their collection.

Due to the complexity and required time to craft the movement, the case and the dial, only a very few 5370P are manufactured each year. In the seven years since its introduction, only a handful of them have appeared on the international auction market. This present lot, preserved in outstanding condition, is, to the best of our knowledge, the first one presented with a blue dial.

The watch comes as the central piece of an impressive custom set marked with the emblem of the United Arab Emirates. It comprises a pair of cufflinks, a ball pen and a prayer beads.

While the market has seen some vintage Patek Philippe linked to the Middle East, as well as some modern sets associated with other watch brands, it is exceptional to see a set with such an important and extraordinary watch as Patek Philippe 5370P.
