A Louis XV Gilt Bronze-Mounted Tulipwood, Amaranth and Kingwood Parquetry Table à la Bourgogne, Circa 1750
the serpentine-shaped rectangular hinged top inlaid with a trellis-filled cartouche opening centrally to reveal a rising compartment fitted with later leather drawers above three hinged compartments over a pair of tambour doors similarly inlaid, enclosing two spring-loaded secret drawers, on cabriole legs ending in scrolled sabots
