"Cityscape" Wall-Mounted Sideboard

circa 1972

produced by Paul Evans Studio for Directional Furniture Company, New York

chromium-plated steel, painted wood

17 7/8 x 72 x 18 1/2 in. (45.4 x 182.9 x 47 cm)

Overall in very good condition. The chromium-plated steel surfaces throughout present with scattered scratches, scuffing, small indentations and light tarnish consistent with age and gentle use. As pictured in the catalogue photography, the proper right door displays a slight push inward when closed, not visually distracting and not impacting functionality. The painted wood interior presents with scattered scratches, surface wear and small chips consistent with age and use. The interior is fitted with four shelves. A superb sideboard by Paul Evans.
