Maria Musiika was born in 1983 in Kyiv, Ukraine. Through her colourful, life-affirming canvases and illustrations, inspired by Pop Art and Symbolism, she aims to convey positive aspects of human existence. In the artist's own words, Madonna 2.0 is 'a modern woman who knows her value and knows exactly what she wants. She has all the power in the world, but she doesn’t need to demonstrate it, doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone. She takes care of her baby but if necessary, she can effortlessly take care of the whole world…'
