99 x 115 cm ; 39 x 45 ¼ in.

The photograph is mounted on an aluminum backing board. The Shunk stamp and signature are visible on a label on the back of this board. Black marks are visible along the edges of the photograph, due to framing. Irregularities to the paper are scattered across the surface, most likely the result of the mounting process. Upon very close inspection, a few cuts are visible in the paper, mainly one on the head of the figure and one on the right of the knee of the figure. There are a few tiny media accretions throughout, visible under close inspection only. The work is in good condition.

A counterpart to "Leap into the Void", "La Terre Bleue", also a photomontage by Shunk & Kender, is the manifesto of what Klein wished to be the "Blue Revolution".

There are only two large format copies of this other icon of Yves Klein's career.
