A collection, comprising:

i) Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, autograph letter signed, regarding the 24th Regiment, 26 April 1817; 2 related letters, 1835, envelope dated 1835 with red wax seal, letters strengthened with see through adhesive tape, occasional light spotting;

ii-iv) Three East India Company Military Commissions, in favour of Edward Lempriere Earle, or John Marsh Earle, one with red wax seal, 1856-58, some wear at folds, very light toning;

v-vi) Field Marshal Sir Douglas Haig, two autograph letters signed, to Field Marshal Sir Evelyn Wood, thanking him for letters, 2 pages, 8vo, General Headquarters, France, 1 July 1917 and 16 November 1918
