Exécuté d'après la maquette originale de 1953 de Fernand Léger réalisée par les Ateliers Brice (exclusivité Musée National Fernand Léger, Biot) dans une édition de 250 exemplaires.

The ceramic is in good condition apart from some surface soiling most predominantly to the recesses, associated with a few minute stains in places. Small bubbles are possibly consistent with the casting process. Examination under UV light reveals spots of fluorescence on the white elements, probably related to the glazing process.
