Le style international, ainsi nommé car à la charnière des styles de la région de l'isthme du Costa Rica, du Panama et de la Colombie voisine, est connu pour les pendentifs stylisés à l'effigie d'alligators. Cet exemple présente trois rangées de pendeloques derrière lesquelles se cache un saurien étendu, aux membres étroitement repliés sur le côté du corps, dont le museau fort et carré duquel jaillissent des serpents. La queue se termine en deux enroulements. Une boucle de suspension se trouve sur la face inférieure.

The International style, so named for the overlapping styles of the Isthmus region of Costa Rica, Panama and neighboring Colombia, is known for the stylized pendants of alligators. On this example, the finely cast details are partially obscured by the projecting three rows of dangles. Behind this glittering affect lies the outstretched saurian with limbs tightly bent to the side the body, the strong squared snout holds serpents with projecting emanations and a serrated edge. The tail is bifurcated and a suspension loop is on the underside.
