8vo (150 x 97mm.), woodcut printer's device on title-page, woodcut initials, final leaf with printer's device only, manuscript recipes in Italian on flyleaves, contemporary vellum, some staining, binding slightly soiled and lacking two pairs of ties

This volume of "secrets" (meaning recipes and experiments in domestic, technical and medical matters) is attributed to Falloppio but is more likely to have been the work of Leonardo Fioravanti. It was first printed in 1563, the year after Falloppio's death.

The manuscript notes include remedies for sciatica, kidney stones and a recipe for soap.
