4to (221 x 140mm.), PRINTED ON VELLUM, A-L⁸, each page with metalcut historiated borders (some with medallions), some illustrations full-page, metalcut Hardouin centaur device on title-page, Hardouin device with a sphere and the Portuguese royal coat-of-arms at end, initials supplied in gold on red or blue grounds, modern calf over wooden boards, vellum pastedowns, small repair to upper corner of D3, last few leaves strengthened in gutter

The illustrations in this copy comprise cuts previously used in both quarto and octavo books of hours printed by the Hardouins. The section on the destruction of Jerusalem by the Emperor Vespasian has woodcut borders depicting events from that time.
