A blue and white moulded 'mountain' dish
Ming Dynasty, Wanli period
vividly painted to the interior in the Master of the Rocks style, depicting a boat journeying across a river landscape flanked by rocky mountains, cottages and trees
Width 19.5 cm, 7¾ in.
There is fritting to the rim and to most of the tips of the petals on the underside of the dish, and a small area of adhered kiln grit to the interior.
