Oil on cardboard laid down on canvas

Signed and dated lower right

26 x 50 cm (unframed); 37 x 61 cm (framed)

This work is in good condition. The cardboard is laid down on canvas. Very close inspection reveals a tiny, retouched, pinhead sized dent between the last two trees of the alley and a small retouched, spiralled scratch in the centre above the lower edge. A further tiny scratch of 5 mm is visible at the lower left edge. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals some scattered small areas of inpainting in the area of the sky and in the lower right area of the meadow.
