the iron bowl of sixty-two plates with raised ridges, rising into a copper-gilt five stage tehen kanamono of a chrysanthemum, the large fukigaeshi [turnbacks] and mabisashi [peak] decorated in stenciled Dutch leather with a profusion of leaves and floral scrolls, copper-gilt fukurin, the shikoro [neck guard] of four tiers with spaced lacing in dark blue braid, black lacquer interior

The shikoro to peak: 35.5 cm., 14 in.
