the russet iron bowl of conical form comprising of sixty-two plates, the standing rivets alternately spaced in groups of one, two or three, suggesting the appearance of a partially closed umbrella sodden with raindrops, terminating in a three-stage tehen kanamono

The bowl to peak: 30.5 cm., 12 in. 

The iron bowl with some slight rust, a few rivets missing, the rim with some old rust and slight damage to edge, red lacquer with old damage under peak.
