Albert Lebourg was a prolific and successful French Impressionist painter of the Rouen School. He trained at the École des Beaux-Arts, Rouen, and went on to settle in Paris. He exhibited work at the Impressionist Exhibitions in Paris in the late 1870s and early 1880s, where his works were displayed alongside those by Claude Monet, Camille Pisarro, Alfred Sisley and Edgar Degas.
