French or Mosan, circa 1350-1400
Crucifixion
right ivory leaf of a diptych, in a red velvet frame
The rectangular panel finely carved in high relief, the crucified Christ in the center with long draped perizonium, the Virgin and three Marys standing left, Saint John and soldiers standing right, under Gothic tracery trefoil arches.

Finement sculpté sous une arcacture gothique, le Christ cruficié au centre portant un long perizonium, la Vierge et les trois Marie se tenant à gauche, Saint Jean et les soldats à droite.
