Overall standard surface abrasions and small losses/chipping throughout. Larger losses include both arms. Nose and part of beard well restored. Some loss to drapery around the back. There is restoration on the bottom fifth of the sculpture where there is a large fill for support on the reverse. There are restorations throughout the base including a portion of the book and his proper left leg. There is a nice greyish/buff colored slip on the surface.
