Attributed to Pieter Aertsen

We are grateful to Peter van den Brink who confirmed the attribution to Pieter Aertsen, based on photographs, and suggested that the painting, datable between 1548 and 1550, could be a fragment from a larger history or biblical painting, possibly from an altarpiece.
