A gem-set silver filigree and cloisonné enamel Icon of The Holy Face, Pavel Ovchinnikov, Moscow, 1899-1908
The frame with roundels and rectangular plaques enamelled in shades of blue and with coloured precious stones, divided by stylised foliage in filigree, the reverse with green velvet and golden thread embroidery, struck to the lower edge of frame with maker's mark with the imperial warrant, 84 standard
