The reeded gold surface inset with a curved band of diamonds below a rose-cut ruby set in a star shape, with suspension loop, struck with workmaster's initials, 56 standard

height 1.5cm, 5/8 in.

Formerly in the collection of Grand Duchess Georgievna of Russia (1903-1965)
The Grand Duchess Georgievna of Russia was the daughter of Grand Duke George Mihailovich of Russia and Princess Maria Georgievna of Greece and Denmark. She left Russia with her mother in 1914 to spend the war years in England, and later relocated to New York.
