Enamelled in shades of blue, red, green and white consisting of lozenges forming a chequered pattern centred by small enamelled roundels, struck with indistinct maker's mark, 84 standard

height 1.6cm, 5/8 in.

Formerly in the collection of Grand Duchess Georgievna of Russia (1903-1965)
The Grand Duchess Georgievna of Russia was the daughter of Grand Duke George Mihailovich of Russia and Princess Maria Georgievna of Greece and Denmark. She left Russia with her mother in 1914 to spend the war years in England, and later relocated to New York.
