Property of a descendant of William Beckford & The Dukes of Hamilton

A Continental porcelain tazza, late 19th century

decorated in the style of Limoges enamel

5½in. high, 9in wide; 14cm., 22.5cm.

Probably acquired by William, 12th Duke of Hamilton (1845–1895) or Mary, Duchess of Hamilton (1854–1934).

The present lot is photographed on a table in the Drawing Room at Brodick Castle, circa 1950.
