Overall in very good condition. The wooden surfaces have recently been sensitively reconditioned to revitalize the rich original appearance of the wood. The solid rosewood presents with very light surface scratches and very minor edge abrasions consistent with gentle use. The edges of the tabletop present with evidence of previous restorations to the table finish, which are not visually distracting. The tabletop is affixed to the base with screws and bolts which present with oxidation and signs of age throughout. The lacquered metal surfaces are in age-appropriate condition and present with light surface scratches, flecks and small losses to the lacquer and very minor surface abrasions consistent with gentle use. A superb table by two masters of mid-century French design that beautifully combines a solid wood top with sleek metal legs.
