Overall in very good condition. The painted metal surfaces present with scattered scratches, abrasions and scuffing consistent with age and gentle use, as well as scattered losses to the paint particularly concentrated to the edges and corners and not visually distracting. The underside of the seat is missing three of its original screws, not impacting the stability or functionality of the piece. The chair appears to have been sensitively reupholstered at some point in the history of the piece in a royal blue satin fabric which presents very well overall with minimal areas of wear and light creasing. The center of the seat presents with a few very faint discolorations, the largest measuring approximately ¾ in. long and only visible upon close inspection. The backside of the seat presents with a small tear to the satin where it meets the metal support, measuring approximately 1 ¾ in. long and stable. The wool is in very well-preserved condition with light surface soiling and occasional discolorations. The edges of the seat and seatback present with a few areas where the wool is very gentle pulling away, stable and only visible upon close inspection.
