Canvas: 103.5 by 68.5cm, 40¾ by 27in.

Framed: 121 by 87.5cm, 47¾ by 34½in.

Original canvas. There is a small dent to the canvas towards the centre of the composition, and two further dents to the grey area in the lower right. There is a tiny puncture with associated paint loss near the centre of the left edge. A few scattered areas of minor paint loss are visible in places, most notably to the background near the centre of the left edge, at the centre of the right edge and in the lower right corner. There are a few isolated areas of craquelure. The surface is covered in a light layer of dirt with scattered spots of dirt in places. Inspection under UV light reveals no obvious signs of retouching. Framed.
