Written by the Franciscan lawyer Franciscus de Platea (died 1460), this early work on economics also mentions the falsification of papal documents in the section on excommunication, and condemns inquisitors who extort money from suspected heretics. There is even a discussion about the proceeds of prostitution by nuns (he concludes that the convent should spend the proceeds on good causes). This edition is based on the 1474 printing, also by Johannes de Colonia and Johannes Manthen.
