Paris, Galerie Palmes, October 1952 (probably)
The 'Bureau de Paris Batignolles' stamp suggests the present lot was also included in the artist’s October 1952 exhibition of paintings at Galerie Palmes, 3 Place Saint-Sulpice, opened by African American writer and fellow Présence Africaine contributor Richard Wright (1908-1960).
Please note this lot is sold unframed.
