Son of the painter Gaspare Diziani, Antonio was mainly a landscapist, whose work was close in tone to the lyrical-pastoral scenes of Francesco Zuccarelli and Giuseppe Zais. His signature flickering brushstrokes can be seen here throughout the landscape as well as in the charming figures in the foreground.
