Impressive emerald and diamond sautoir
The octagonal plaque set with a sugarloaf emerald framed with circular-cut diamonds supporting two detachable pendants, each terminating in an emerald bead, highlighted with circular-cut and rose diamonds, the long chain composed of square and circular links set with circular- and single-cut diamonds, length approximately 770mm, may be worn as four bracelets, each length approximately 180mm, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay marks for platinum and indistinct French maker's marks.
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 102822, stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, with a minor amount of oil in fissures.

The pendant signed CARTIER. Each segment numbered 3468B, indistinct French maker's marks and stamped with French assay mark for platinum. Inscribed MADE IN FRANCE. Emerald sugarloaf with faceted pavilion. Emeralds of yellowish green colour, of medium saturation, with visible typical surface-reaching inclusions, signs of wear to the surface, scratches and chips. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 35.00 - 37.00 carats, on average G-I colour, SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of wear and use consistent with age. Overall, in good condition. Total gross weight approximately 161 grams.
