Etude d'oies

pencil on paper

19 by 11.8cm., 7½ by 4⅝in.

Framed: 33 by 26cm., 13 by 10¼in.

Drawn in the late 1870s.

Dr. Joachim Pissarro can confirm that this work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Raisonné of drawings and watercolors by Camille Pissarro.

Executed on cream wove paper and laid down on the mount. The lower edge is unevenly cut. The sheet is slightly time-stained and there are some spots of foxing in places (which could be almost entirely removed by a restorer for approx. £500). This work is in overall fairly good condition.
