The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona has gone through many technical advancements over the years, and one of the most important developments was in the year 2000 when Rolex had introduced its completely inhouse movement. The present watch bearing a “P” serial suggests that the watch was made in the year 2000 which was the earliest batch of the new reference in the first year of production.
